After ‘Jodha Akbar’, Hrithik Roshan is again teaming up with Ashutosh Gowarikar and according to reports, he has hiked his price to Rs 50 crore. If the report is true then Hrithik would become the highest paid actor in Bollywood. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is a mammoth project and the makers are yet to decide in which studio the film will be shot.
Hrithik will not take the share of the profit but will be paid a hefty amount of Rs 50 crore.
Trade analyst Amod Mehra said, “This will make Hrithik the highest paid actor in the country and Mohenjo Daro the most expensive film.”
Exhibitor Manoj Desai says Hrithik continues to be a crowd puller. “He was brilliant in Ashutosh’s period drama Jodhaa Akbar and Mohenjo Daro is also a period drama.”
