FREMONT: Bay area will be surrounded by a different type of FOG for the next two weeks. The FOG highlight will be a Grand Awards night on August 15 at SAP Center. It will be culmination of 10-day celebration of best of the global movies from 30 different countries and a special focus on ‘Women Empowerment’. SAP Center is one of the Bay area’s largest event centers with state-of-the-art stage and event facilities.
The week leading to FOG awards will feature a harmony of beautiful dance performances, song renditions and a unique evening of recognitions for some of world’s best movie and musical personalities.
The FOG awards will be held on the largest ever scale at SAP Center. It is expected to have 20,000 attendees and will be graced by more than hundred invited Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities. The welcome addresses will be by Consul Generals of various countries followed by a press conference.
Bappi Lahri, the legendary Bollywood music director and a strong supporter of FOG SF Global Movie Fest, is producing a video for the FOG awards with Hollywood singers and also performing a song at FOG Awards along with the famous Kat Kramer at FOG Awards!!
Andy Madadian, “The Persian Elvis” will perform a unique rendition at FOG Awards. He has released multiple albums selling in the millions throughout the world. He is famous for his blending and harmonious music making East meet West to listener’s delight.
A unique hip blend has been added to FOG Awards as the rapper known as ‘Bohemia the king of Punjabi rap’ will have an unprecedented live stage performance. Bohemia is popularly recognized as the creator of Punjabi rap music. His hit singles like ‘Kali Denali’, ‘Charso Bees’ and his appearance in the Bollywood film ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ with Akshay Kumar has put Bohemia in a league of his own as a pioneer of a new genre.
Jackie Chan, Sharon Stone, Martin Sheen, Bappi Lahri, Arshad Warsi, and many more Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities are among the star attractions.
