ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.: A New Jersey casino authority says it will be auctioning off nearly 100 excess properties later this month.
The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority says it has scheduled an auction for March 28 at the Atlantic City Convention Center with Max Spann Real Estate.
Auction Co. CRDA Executive Director Chris Howard says with several new projects underway, it makes sense for the authority to offer properties to individuals excited about Atlantic City’s “rebirth.”
The 95 properties will be sold in 24 packages ranging from one to 12 assets located in various city zoning districts.
The Press of Atlantic City reports a December auction netted more than $1.6 million in revenue.-AP
