FIA celebrates Indian Heritage Night

CHICAGO: The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) celebrated Indian Heritage Night at the Sears Center Arena on Tuesday, February 12 where the Windy City Bulls – the official NBA G League affiliates of the Chicago Bulls took on the Wisconsin Herd for a gripping game.
The evening took off in the presence of the Founder President of FIA Sunil Shah, and the current President Ninad Daftari. The opening rendition of the American National Anthem was by Ashley Singh, daughter of past president FIA Mrs Rita Singh.

Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Founder President of FIA Sunil Shah for completion of three years of celebrating Indian Heritage Night.
The highlight of the evening was the quarter breaks cheer by the students of SSR Chicago. There were exquisite dance performances during the half-time by Kalashree Dance Academy and Mankruti Performance. A fun zone with Windy City Bulls obstacle course and basketball hoops was one of the main attractions in the arena. Live mascots of Gus T. Bulls entertained the cheering crowds. The gathering was also frenzied by the “Catch the t-shirt” act.
