(A4H) successfully hosted a virtual Meet & Greet on December 21 with, a distinguished American Hindu leader and candidate for Attorney General of the State of New York.

The session opened with A4H Global President Pramit Makoday, who highlighted Ms. Komatireddy’s exceptional credentials, noting that she is the only prosecutor in the race, with an elite education from Harvard University and teaching experience at Columbia University. He emphasized her rare blend of legal rigor, academic excellence, and real-world prosecutorial experience.

A4H Communications Vice President Geeta Sikand stressed the urgent need for qualified American Hindus to engage actively in the political arena, underscoring that meaningful civic participation is essential to ensure strong and authentic community representation.

In her remarks, Ms. Komatireddy identified Affordability and Safety as New York’s two most pressing challenges. She shared her proven record of prosecuting dangerous criminals, including an ISIS terrorist, and affirmed her commitment to restoring security and public safety across the state. She noted that in just three weeks, her campaign has already attracted significant attention from media outlets and community leaders.

Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder and Chairman of Americans4Hindus, made a passionate appeal for the community to support Ms. Komatireddy wholeheartedly—especially at the grassroots and early fundraising stages. Drawing a parallel with strong community-backed campaigns, he emphasized that early and united support from Hindu Americans is critical, adding that once the broader public recognizes her caliber, she will clearly emerge as a winning candidate.

Americans4Hindus formally announced its full endorsement of Saritha Komatireddy. Sandeep Deswal, A4H Social Media Chair and Political Strategist, pledged comprehensive national-level support, noting that this high-profile race requires engagement not only from New York but from supporters across the country, as public safety has become a defining issue in major U.S. cities.

Additionally, A4H New York Chapter Vice President Monolita Mitra and A4H New York Chapter President Dr. Rakesh Shreedhar announced plans to host a series of in-person Meet & Greet events across different regions of New York State, enabling direct interaction between the candidate and community members.

From outside the state, Hemal Trivedi, President of A4H Denver, Colorado, applauded Ms. Komatireddy for taking this bold step into public service. He emphasized the duty and dharma of second-generation Hindu Americans to become more engaged in politics, contribute to civic life, and ensure sustained representation of the community at all levels of government.
