Arizona becomes the 24th State Chapter in A4H’s rapid national expansion
PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Americans4Hindus (A4H), the nation’s fastest-growing Hindu American political empowerment organization, proudly announced the launch of its Arizona State Chapter at a landmark event held in Phoenix.
With this milestone, Americans4Hindus now has an active presence in 24 states, underscoring its rapid growth and expanding national influence.
The ceremony was led by Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder & Chairman of Americans4Hindus, who formally installed Manish Gupta as President and Shamini Oza-Shah as Vice President of the Arizona Chapter. Dr. Japra emphasized the need of the hour—to expand organizational reach, strengthen grassroots leadership, and accelerate political engagement to protect values, identity, and civic voice.
Accepting the role of President, Manish Gupta described the appointment as a sacred responsibility guided by Hindu Dharma. He pledged to unite the community across Arizona and work relentlessly to empower Hindu Americans politically—from local civic bodies to state and federal platforms.
The event was graciously hosted at the residence of Shamini Oza-Shah, who opened her home to community leaders and supporters. In her address, she spoke candidly about the crossroads facing the community, noting that even Hindu Americans born and raised in the United States are increasingly facing intimidation and threats. She called for unity, courage, and organized civic participation.
Kate Gallego, Mayor of Phoenix congratulated Manish Gupta on his appointment. Mayor Gallego praised his distinguished public service as a Planning Commissioner and his contributions on economic advisory boards, highlighting his impact as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and champion of community service.
Drawing from the spirit and momentum of recent chapter launches—such as Colorado—A4H leadership reiterated the organization’s mission to remain independent, non-partisan, and centrist, while endorsing, funding, and supporting candidates who are aligned with Hindu values and supportive of the community’s concerns. As seen across other states, the Arizona launch also inspired attendees to pledge their time, expertise, and resources to build a strong statewide presence.
With the launch of the Arizona Chapter, Americans4Hindus continues to build a united, organized, and politically engaged Hindu American movement—strengthening representation from city halls to state capitols and Washington, D.C.
