CHICAGO: Ashfaq Syed was honored to receive the Muslim Heritage Month Proclamation from DuPage County Board Chair Deborah A. Conroy at the DuPage County Board meeting.
This recognition celebrates the contributions of Muslim Americans to DuPage County and beyond, highlighting their impact across various fields.
The proclamation was presented by DuPage County Board Commissioner Sadia Covert to recognize organizations and community leaders who have dedicated themselves to serving the residents of DuPage County. Ashfaq Syed expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying:
