2014 saw a lot many sizzling B-town jodis setting the silver screen on fire. Here are the couples that made it to the top:
Salman Khan- Jacqueline Fernandez: The two shared a wonderful chemistry in ‘Kick’. The super hit track ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ was loved by fans and created quite a lot of headlines, as the team was trying to endow it with a thrill similar to Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Jumma Chumma De De’ song. It was even said, that Salman does not believe in onscreen kisses, but he expressed his wish to smooch the ravishing Jacqueline!
Siddharth Malhotra – Shraddha Kapoor: The pairing was praised very much as it was near perfect with the beautiful Shraddha and the strikingly handsome and brawny Siddharth in ‘Ek Villain’. The on screen couple was loved, and rumors of their off screen romance soon followed. But Siddarth quickly denied any such involvement with the actress when he said in an interview, “I am single and don’t have an affair with any of my co-stars.”
Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif: The red hot kiss in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ , and their amazing pairing in ‘Bang Bang!’ was enough to foretell the beginning of an off screen romance. The rumors started when Hrithik was planning divorce with wife Sussanne and it was being said that Katrina might be the reason! Even onlookers at the sets of ‘Bang Bang!’ reported that Katrina and Hrithik were many a times spotted staring at each other during the shooting. The excitement further rose when Katrina was seen fighting with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor on the sets of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and sources said that Ranbir had clearly asked Katrina to keep a distance from Hrithik.
Alia Bhatt- Arjun Kapoor: Their pairing in ‘2 States’ was very cute and equally heartwarming. They made the audience laugh with their comedy, and at the same time came up with a beautifully romantic on screen relationship. Fans were totally surprised when this romance continued off screen and a lot of interesting selfies were revealed, which clearly showed how much they enjoyed each other’s company.
Ali Fazal-Vidya Balan: The audience were eagerly waiting to see how 36 year old Vidya would romance with the 27 year old actor in ‘Bobby Jasoos’. When asked about the same in an interview, she said, “Romance has no age no bar. I don’t think age has anything to do with chemistry. I have worked with Nasser sir in Ishqiya as well. It’s all about getting into the character.” Their pairing was gripping and was quite appreciated.
