CHICAGO: Members of the Indian Community organized a function at residence of Krishna Bansal in Naperville, (a south west suburb of Chicago) to honor KB Jindal, a philanthropist from Pune. More than 30 front ranking community activists and leaders of organizations attended the event held on April 16.
KB Jindal has donated $250,000 to the Rotary Foundation. In addition, he contributed to many charitable causes relating to water, disease, health and education.
On behalf of the Indian community Amrit Mittal presented an Award to Jindal. Prominent activists like Narayan Chandak, Vandna Jhingan (TV Asia), Anil Deshpande, Ram Saini (Association of Rajasthanis in America, Chicago), Haribhai Patel (Bhartiya Senior Citizens of Chicago), Krishna Bansal, Sohan Joshi (President National Federation of Indian Associations), Vasant Pandav and representatives of organizations congratulated the Indian philanthropist and his family.
