Salman Khan, whose Eid release Bharat is an official Hindi remake of the South Korean film, Ode to My Father, is set to take on another adaptation. The 53-year-old actor’s next is an official Hindi remake of the 2015 Korean cop thriller, ‘Veteran’.
This film is right up Salman’s alley,” a source close to the development told Mirror, adding that the actor will play an upright cop. “But unlike Chulbul Pandey of Dabangg, this character will be more stylized and contemporary.”
There is also the character of a young millionaire who is involved in a crime syndicate. He is Salman’s nemesis in the film and the makers will approach a younger actor with a strong screen presence for the part. “It’s a good-versus-evil story, and this character challenges the cop throughout,” the source informed.
