PALO ALTO, CA: DanceDilSe (DDS), A Bollywood dance musical company stage theater production came up with a Mega show on September 20, “Colors” at Spangenberg Theater, Palo Alto, CA.
DDS raised funds and gave to Asha for Education, a non profit organization dedicated to bringing hope for children through education.
DanceDilSe (DDS) a non profit organization was founded three years ago by Jyotsna Bendapudi, who is the Main Organizer & Creative Director for “Colors”. In the past, DDS has contributed to Sankara Eye Foundation through their first theater production, “Manthan-EMotions”. The entire DDS team is very talented and passionate about dance, drama and most importantly helping society; which inspired us to host such big events to raise funds for non profit organizations to support their mission and objectives.
DDS Colors is a Movie on Stage with scintillating dances, funny drama and dazzling sets. It depicted three stories of life – love that never happened, love that clicked immediately and love that stands true during the toughest of times. The musical was full of drama, Bollywood, hiphop, contemporary, fusion, classical, semi classical and Folk with participation from experienced artists.
On November 14, the DDS celebrated the show success with video screening of “Colors” at Vara restaurant in Sunnyvale to recognize the people making “Colors” successful and distribute certificates. Ash Kalra (San Jose City Council), Papiha Nandy (Founder of TV Channel & EklaCholoRe) were the guests of honor. In their speeches, Ash, Papiha, JoyaKazi-Dancer/Actor, SekarSrinivasan – Asha Chapter Coordinator, Supporters showed appreciation for the efforts led by DDS for raising money for Asha for Education.
The Team has been privileged to dance at many big shows & with Bollywood stars in Bay Area by invitation such as SLAM Flashmob Dance Performance Promotion for Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone Event with Instant Karma, Mohit Chauhan & Mamta Sharma Live Concert, and with Preity Zinta, Dharmendra, Malaika Arora, Abhay Deol, Vikram Phadnis, Neha Sharma, Nisha Kothari, Dino, and Bipasha Basu.
