CHICAGO: For educating, empowering and evolving entrepreneurs, E3 Entrepreneurs Inc. presented a mega shopping extravaganza titled ‘Holiday Shopping Party’ at Waterford Banquets in Elmhurst, a southwest suburb of Chicago, on Sunday December 6. It was attended by a great number of Chicagoans from city and suburbs.
It was the second successful event hosted by Roopali Chand, owner of UR creations & founder of E3 Entrepreneurs Inc. The event brought together members, vendors and supporters for an exciting day filled with inspirational talks, shopping and entertainment.
E3 provided platform for entrepreneurs who share the goal of enabling and empowering each other to reach the highest levels of leadership, and more importantly, to fulfill their own career aspirations.
The event started with inspiring talks by leading entrepreneurs. They revealed their success stories and listed obstacles that they had overcome to accomplish great success in their lives. Reema Kapur, Executive Director of SAAPRI (South Asian American Policy & Research Institute) spoke on challenges that immigrant communities face in this country.
She emphasized on various initiatives that the government is taking to save and protect our community. She shared her success story with SAAPRI and asked everyone to learn about benefit options available to immigrants by joining SAAPRI.
RJ Promila of radio Pani Poori spoke on India’s art and culture and her efforts to save it through Radio Pani Poori.
Another inspiring talk was presented by Dr Callista Lay of “Reddy Set Yoga”. She provided awareness on the importance of holistic health/self-care for women entrepreneurs to succeed in their personal and professional lives. Dr Lay discussed the need for nutritional supplements and explained in detail about Orenda products.
Deepali Aul, Certified Health Coach, spoke on how to be healthy, look great and live longer.
Roopali Chand observed that “E3 focuses activities on education, mentoring and networking, and on creating opportunities for leadership that can help advance one’s career.”
The event also had an award ceremony which was presented in 3 categories: “Woman of Influence Award” was given to singer Mona Bhalla of Kudi Bindaas; “Best Creative Business Award” was presented to Pankaj Garg of SomruS and “Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award” was given to Jas Sandhu of Mitandio for art scarves.
The awards were presented by Reema Kapur, Executive Director of SAAPRI, and O.P Meena Deputy Consul General at Chicago of Community Welfare, Information, Protocol & Culture and RJ Promila of radio Pani Poori.
Yet another attraction of the event was Fashion Show which was presented by Sneha Dixit of “VA Cosmetics” and Panache, “The Emporium by Arti Chandok.” Models walked on the ramp, showcasing “Haute Couture” and “Pret-a-Porter” collections of leading designers of India. Make up of all models was done by Ms Dixit of VA Cosmetics
Sameer Saini, a successful business owner, emceed the event along with Nisha Saraswat who sang melodiously. Sneha Dixit of VA Cosmetics and a member of E3 Entrepreneurs opened the event talking about the three E’s and her journey as a businesswoman.
