Arjun Kapoor says he wants to push and reinvent himself with each role because he finds challenging characters fascinating.
The 29-year-old star, who has starred in ‘Ishaqzaade’,’2 States’ and ‘Finding Fanny’ in his three-year-old career, says any character which is not close to his real-self excites him.
“Any character that’s not me appeals to me. It is boring to play yourself and it is not easy also beyond a point to be yourself in front of the camera. Audience will be bored seeing me like that as I feel I am not that exciting to watch.
“I want to discover new characters, new worlds and facets.
I would like to do something which I have never done in life,” Arjun told PTI in an interview.
The actor has done a couple of action-drama films, ‘Aurangzeb’, ‘Gunday’ and his latest ‘Tevar’ but says he does not want to stick to the same genre.
