
SKOKIE: First Bank & Trust’s 4007 Dempster Street branch was one of three businesses awarded a 2013 Property Owner Award on April 7 at the Council Chambers of Skokie Village Hall.
Awardees, chosen by the Beautification and Improvement Commission, were cited for maintaining their property in an exceptional manner during the year.
First Bank & Trust’s branch manager Lu Ann Stempel said, “Last year we earned a LEED Gold certification for leadership in energy and environmental design. But it is especially gratifying to be honored for Beautification from the community we serve.
