Sonam Kapoor, who assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in “Black”, says direction is her first love and acting came as a mistress.
“Yes, my first dream was to be a director. I love reading, I love movies, and stories. It’s because of that I always wanted to direct,” Sonam told reporters.
“You get attached to the fame and glamour and I am attached to it. I won’t lie about it. That was my first love, but then acting came as a mistress,” added the actress who has been acting in front of the camera for the past six years.
In future, she has definite plans to go behind the camera to tell her kind of stories.
“And if nothing else, at the risk of sounding extremely spoilt, I have my sister (Rhea who produced ‘Aisha’) to make movies for me.”
