The extravaganza FOG India day parade held on a Sunday with lakhs of spectators full of patriotism and pride led by Grand marshal Bhagyasree (Bollywood actress) with FOG Founder Dr. Romesh Japra, President Rajesh Verma and Actress Jo Sharma/FOG Chair Cultural/A4H Global Ambassador along with Goa Toursim Secretary Sanjeev Ahuja and Acting Consul General Rakesh Adlaka, Captain Krishan Sharma was sitting in an open car as delegates along with Raj Salwan Mayor of Fremont and all political dignitaries.
Captain Krishan Sharma along with FOG Chair and Indian American Actress Jo Sharma, helped with putting together FOG Goa float with colorful beach theme and 100s of Goa volunteers dancing with goa beach music festive theme.
FOG Goa float won “first time best design” award (24 Ft truck) at FOG India Day Parade and lot of Volunteers participated in making it a grand success.
FOG Volunteers in Goa float Mayura, Jyothi, Srini Gotte, Raghu, Dr.Harsha, Priyanka M, Mangala, Priyanka G, Dimple, Sunita and Jaya, with all families’ ladies and teenagers wearing traditional beach costumes and men with colorful beach shirts and hats, with garlands dancing along with men and kids walking with the float.
Festive colors feast to the eye with 100s of FOG volunteers walked the parade led by FOG Chairperson Jo Sharma.
Parade walk involves a community gathering where participants walk a specific route to celebrate nation’s independence featuring festive floats, marching bands, vintage cars, dance troops, and spectators lining the streets. These parade supported by Fremont police department and volunteers to create memorable experience.
