Fremont, CA: Fremont Hindu Temple celebrated Mata ka Vishal jagran on Saturday, January 10, 2026 with great devotion. The atmosphere was filled with faith, music and spiritual energy. Los Angeles artist Amit Anand Ji of Aashirwad group sang Mata devotional bhajans.
Dr Joy Garg along with more than 70 devotees sponsored this event. Veena Birla, chair Jagran committee, coordinated the Vishal jagran program. Veena ji on this occasion was recognized for her selfless volunteer work since 2011. Rajesh Verma, Co Chairman/CFO and Govind Pasumarthy, Chair, Religious Committee presented this award to Veena ji.
On this special occasion, over 350 devotees enjoyed the Priti Bhoj sponsored by several devotees.
The celebration brought people together in unity and happiness. The New Year began with blessings, love, and togetherness. Fremont temple priest Pt. Rupendra Mishra ji prayed for all temple devotees and said:
Sabke dukh door kare, Sabke ghar mein sukh-shanti laaye Aur hum sabko dharm aur satya ke marg par chalne ki shakti de.
Vishal Jagran program concluded at 2:00 am with Tara Rani ki katha and Aarti.
