Model-actor Kesha Khambhati seems to be going places. The actor, who started her career as a model in Surat, first went to Mumbai to bag more work in ads. Now, after doing a Telugu movie titled Heart Attack, the model-turned actress feels it’s time to explore opportunities in south and stick to regional films as of now.
Says a perked up Kesha, “After I started modeling for a saree catalogue in Surat, I started getting ad offers and decided to move to Mumbai two and a half years back. Honestly speaking, I don’t remember how I got into showbiz, but after I started doing ads and made my portfolio, I started getting calls. And there has been no looking back after I decided to come to Mumbai in search of good work.”
Quiz the actress on her decision to do only regional movies down south and not try her luck in Bollywood and Kesha pitches in quickly, “Doing South films gives an actor visibility that makes entry into Bollywood relatively easy. In entertainment industry, an actor’s success determines the market value and everything revolves around it.”
Kesha, who loves listening to music and swimming is keen on finishing her education, at the same time. “I am pursuing LLB and am keen on completing the course,” says Kesha.
