Hundreds participate in Umiya Mata Sarad Purnima Garba

CHICAGO: Over 4000 people attended Shree Umiya Mataji (SUDCM) First Sarad Purnima Garba with Kinjal Dave organized by Shree Umiya Dham Chicago Midwest (SUDCM) on Friday October 26 at Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park Illinois.

The Mataji Palki was beautifully decorated and was placed on stage. The program started with Deep Pragatya ceremony

by Grand Sponsors Mafatbhai Patel, Himanshu Modi, Chhotalal Patel, accompanied by SUDCM team and community leaders. Following Deep Pragtya ceremony everyone joined Mithabhai & Jayantibhai family for Maha Aarti on stage.

The venue was reminiscent of three years ago August 29/30^th 2015 Mataji reception event. Kinjal Dave’s event drew the largest Indian community crowd in history of Chicago. Her wonderful voice in two tali, three tali, Raas Garba, Sanedo and Bhai-Bhaigot everyone on their heels. The ladies did a bit of shopping to support their test as well at the booths.

The SUDCM team and volunteers did a great job on reaching out to community to bring in high profile sponsors, selling booths, banners, tickets, and organizing and managing the event. The Lucky Draw was planned and managed by Hemant and Sunil Patel. Lucky draw price Apple watch was sponsored by Unjha group. Another brilliant idea from Kirti Patel, he imported Raas Dandiya from India at his own expense and it was sold during event and it generated over $1,000 revenue for SUDCM.

SUDCM Chairman Chhotalal Patel complimented Rajesh Desai, Narendra Patel, Pankaj Patel and Kirti Patel for taking full responsibility to manage and resulting in great successful event.
