Midwest Swaminarayan Mandirin Itasca hosted a fundraiser last week at its facility in Itasca to raise funds for its Health Clinic. The fundraiser featured a Gujarati drama ‘Two Idiots’ performed by Mumbai based Lee Arts. Close to nine hundred devotees and supporters had flocked to the temple last Sunday to attend the event that turned out to be a huge success.
The start was with lamp lighting ceremony followed by honoring guests and a brief address by Jagdish Patel about various activities being conducted by the Temple management.
Ramesh Brahmbhatt emceed the event and pointed out that the Health Clinic offers free services to the middle class and uninsured people. Medicines are also provided. A large number of health care professionals offer their services free cost.
