As a member of the MDRT, Lina Shah is invited to attend the MDRT Meeting in Miami, Florida. Lina has been a New York Life agent since 1998 and is associated with New York Life’s Illinois General Office in Schaumburg, Illinois.
She is also an Executive Council member qualifying as veteran member of the Executive Council for the last 13 years. Members of the Executive Council of New York Life are among the top 20 per cent of New York Life’s elite sales force of more than 12,000 licensed agents in sales achievement.
Lina Shah was also awarded in 2012 and 2014 by New York Life for helping secure more lives in the community. For being a top agent with 10-15 years in service with New York Life and for having the highest persistency in the Asian Indian market, she bagged an award at the Asian Indian Conference in Las Vegas in 2014. In a special 2019 Cornerstone challenge, Lina qualified by doubling the goal and her name is included on the 2019 Scroll of Honor, to be placed in a time capsule to be enshrined in the cornerstone of the iconic New York Life home office building in New York City.
Lina is a member of community groups and trade associations including the Carol Stream Chamber, Jain Society of Chicago, Vidyaranyam Kannada Kutta, and Jain Visa Oshwal Group of North America among others.
