ST LOUIS, MO: Malayalam School of St. Louis is entering its sixth year of service to the community this year.
Classes meet twice a month for two hours each and run from September through May every year. Currently there are 32 students enrolled in Malayalam School. All classes are run by dedicated volunteers. Course structure is developed into four levels, from entry level to proficient. Graduates of Malayalam School are proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in Malayalam.
Malayalam School of St Louis is an affiliate program sponsored by Ohmkaram, a nonprofit voluntary organization of Malayalees in St Louis, Missouri, USA. Malayalam School was started with the perception for the need to educate the next generation of Malayalees growing up in St Louis.
