KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines has opened doors of its newly refurbished Golden Lounge at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). With a floor space of over 4,000 square meters, the Satellite Golden Lounge can accommodate up to 330 guests in the Business class area and 125 guests in the First class area at any one time.
Open 24 hours and located at the Mezzanine Floor of the airport, the lounge caters to guests travelling First and Business Class, Malaysian Airlines Enrich Platinum and Gold members as well as OneWorld Emerald and Sapphire members.
The Satellite Golden Lounge offers a variety of both international and local cuisine showcasing the richness of Malaysia’s diverse flavors. There is a Laksa Bar featuring various types of Laksas from different regions within the country. Guests can enjoy refreshing drinks in the sports bar or catch a quick snooze in the Nap Area.
The Lounge design pays homage to Malaysian heritage, incorporating elements of Malaysian culture, arts, food and architecture.
