PHAGWARA, Punjab: Former Zila Parishad member and senior BJP leader Avtar Singh Mand has been appointed national media co-convener of BJP’s frontal wing All India Kisan Morcha.
His appointment was made on January 18 by Morcha President Verinder Singh and Media convener Mahesh Verma. Mand was accorded a tumultuous welcome when he reached here on January 19th.
Former Punjab minister and BJP stalwart Ch Swarna Ram, BJP youth leader Anshu Sampla, Sanju Chahal, NRI Talwinder Singh Mand, former Block BJP President Pankaj Chawla, Councilors Devinder Sapra, Pardeep Ahuja, Mauli village Sarpanch Sulakhan Singh, NGO activist Sukhwinder Tarry were among several prominent persons who hailed Mand’s appointment.
