NEW DELHI: Max Healthcare has elevated Rajit Mehta as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
He was earlier working as Deputy Managing Director of the healthcare provider.
Mehta has been associated with the Max Group for more than 14 years and after being transferred from Max Life Insurance (MLI) in April 2014, was working as the Deputy Managing Director of Max Healthcare (MHC).
“In his new role, Rajit will provide strategic thinking, dedicated execution and a sense of confidence to MHC as the company pursues its growth goals, explores organic and inorganic growth opportunities and invests in new capabilities, while sustaining the already high clinical outcomes,” Max Healthcare said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, Mehta said: “My aspiration is to work closely with the shareholders, the board, the leadership team of management and clinicians to take MHC to even greater heights of sustainable success and accelerate the journey of building an institution that is truly admired for its values and credibility by genuinely serving the society.”
Max Healthcare, at present, has 12 hospitals with 1,900 beds offering services in over 30 medical disciplines. Of this nine facilities are located in Delhi & NCR and others in Mohali, Bathinda and Dehradun.-PTI
