NEW DELHI: Max Healthcare Institute Ltd says it has tied up with South Africa’s hospital group Life Health Care for imparting a one-year nursing course.
Max Institute of Medical Excellence (MIME), a part of Max Healthcare, has collaborated with Life Health Care for a one- year specialty course in critical care nursing and operation theatre nursing, Max Healthcare said in a statement.
“…I am hopeful that this program will help develop expertise in these two areas (theatre nursing and critical care) and will result in higher quality and productivity as well as better job satisfaction,” Max Healthcare CEO Ajay Bakshi said.
MIME has selected 50 nurses from Max Healthcare to undergo this specialist certificate training, the healthcare firm said.
Commenting on the development, Life Health Care Executive Head, Nursing Sharon Vasuthevan said: “It is a pleasure to partner with Max Healthcare and share expertise…we are pleased to be able to bring this advanced qualification to Max Healthcare.”
Max Healthcare has 11 facilities in North India, offering services in over 30 medical disciplines. -PTI
