NEW YORK: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has enhanced the image of India in the comity of nations resulting in larger Foreign Direct Investment and drastic improvement in credit ratings. “We have proved that this is the government that works for the welfare of nation unlike the corrupt Congress Government. Modiji is an action king and has no other interest than developing India as world leader.
We are fortunate to have him lead the nation at a very crucial time,” said Kailash Vijayvargia, BJP National General Secretary, here.
In a talk to this paper, he observed that the Modi government at federal level has stood for overall development and he has ushered in a spate of welfare schemes like taking banking to the doorsteps of the poor and illiterate and provision of loans to women and weaker sections without any guarantee. His actions are praised by world economists and after so many decades, India is now on the path of sustained growth.
Vijayargia who was made party election-in-charge of Haryana ensured that the BJP captured power first time since independence of India. “BJP reflects the aspirations of common man and it’s not a political party of nawabs and landlords. People have identified BJP with development and progress and are happy to see the deliverable in all the BJP-ruled states,” he said. He was responsible for BJP’s tally from four seats in the previous elections to 47 seats and helped form a government in Haryana.
He was named as National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party as well as state in-charge for West Bengal in 2015.Entrusted with the task of capturing power in West Bengal, he was recently named as Prabhari and election strategist of BJP for West Bengal now being ruled by Trinamool Congress Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
“West Bengal remains an island in India with no democracy and rule of law. It’s run by a power-hungry dictator who has lost all interest in a democratic set up. There is no development and no efforts are taken to alleviate the poverty of the poor. ”
West Bengal has become a threat to national unity with anti-national elements running amok in the state. Fake Indian currency bills smuggled from Pakistan and Bangladesh go unchecked in West Bengal and insurgents have a free run. ISI agents and forces inimical to national unity are not crushed with iron hand resulting in grave danger to democracy,” he said.
Vijayvargiya, said West Bengal government poses a threat to the internal security of the country due to cross-border arms, drug and currency trafficking. The only way out is to throw Mamata Banerjee government in the elections to State Assembly and give power to the BJP. The state cannot be saved if it remains in the hands of Trinamool Congress, he said.
The BJP leader said that his party was ready to enter into an alliance for the 2017 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. He also said that the PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir will continue.
