As millions of devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission celebrated Muktiparv Samagam all around the world, the Bay Area observed the event in the divine presence of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Savinder Hardev ji Maharaj.
Her Holiness along with Nirankari Rajpita Ramit ji are traveling non stop for more than a month covering different SNM centers all across North America to bless devotees. As part of the tour Her Holiness attended 3 events in the San Francisco bay area and surrounding areas.
On Saturday Aug 12th, Her Holiness was welcomed with music and dance as a band of sewadal or volunteer members of all ages marched in harmony in parade-like fashion around the Mission’s center in Tracy, Ca. The parade was followed by dances which included yoga dance and bhangra. The welcome program continued into the late evening as devotional songs were sung, the atmosphere full of positive vibrations.
The next day Aug 13th, a huge samagam (Congregation) was held in Delta college auditorium in Stockton. The samagam encapsulated the visionary Satguru’s call for love and selfless service to humanity. Like moths to a flame, hundreds of devotees from different states and countries flew in to seek blessings and to hear her words of wisdom.
The spiritual head has been an advocate for helping underserved populations through the Mission’s outreach services such as building schools, hospitals, hosting blood donation drives, cleanliness drives and providing disaster relief around the world.
Young devotees had worked hard to present the idea of “Know One, Be One” in the form of exhibits, which included VR world, models, posters, paintings etc. Her Holiness and Nirankari Rajpitaji visited the exhibition and showed great interest in interacting and encouraging young devotees.
“True Salvation (mukti) is possible only when one connects to this formless God,” Her Holiness said at the main congregation. “And this aim of the true seeker is to be one with One (Formless).”
Rajpita ji in his discourse stressed the importance of a True master. “Salvation can be possible right now, only if the seeker finds a true master (Satguru) as a True master makes us realize formless God.”
The Sant Nirankari Mission is an all-embracing international spiritual movement aspiring to unify mankind by emphasizing self-realization, tolerance, love, humility, humanness, and oneness among all beings regardless of religion, caste, color, or creed.
“Let’s become that beacon, that lighthouse that others can come to, and the path opens up to create a brighter future for humanity,” said Dr. Ron Oberstein, one of dozens of speakers at the congregation. Dr. Oberstein is President of Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward and helps send teams of chiropractic doctors overseas to provide free medical aid at Mission events in India, serving tens of thousands during recent years.
