SANTA CLARA, CA: Diwali was celebrated in high gear this year in San Francisco Bay area. Many social and community events gave bay area Indians an occasion and opportunity to capture a sliver of Diwali euphoria and enjoy the festival with friends and families.
Diwali Mela held by Janta Connections on November 9, at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds included famous Bollywood start, dancer and TV actor Prachi Desai. Held in the comforts of indoor center, the event was filled with fun and entertainment for people of all ages. Besides Prachi Desai, Assad Waince, an upcoming Pakistani singer gave a mesmerizing singing performance.
