The king of Bollywood and the man, who is ruling the industry over 20 years; Shah Rukh Khan, has now added one more prestigious honor to his credit. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been conferred with Morocco’s prestigious Medal of Honor at the Marrakech International Film Festival.
The festival also paid a tribute to the 100 years of Indian Cinema. Many Bollywood biggies made their presence felt at this most acclaimed festival. Along with SRK, megastars like Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Sridevi, Tabu, Sharmila Tagore, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and wife Kalki Kolchin were present.
After giving tribute to Indian cinema, Prince Moulay Rachid hosted a dinner for Indian delegation of Bollywood stars. At the royal dinner, Prince Rachid presented Shah Rukh Khan with the Medal of Honor of Morocco.
Shah Rukh has expressed his feeling for this great honor presented to him on Twitter. He twitted, “Thanks for the honor and happiness. All the best for the rest of the festival.”
