JAIPUR: The Employers’ Association of Rajasthan has signed an MOU with University of WolverHampton for skill development in organized and unorganized sectors in the state.
As per the MOU, a master academy will be set up in Jaipur or Beawar in Ajmer wherein work will be done for instructing the trainer, capacity building and development of employability skills, N K Jain, President of the Association said today.
He said the academy would train 10,000 students in a year in 60 selected trades.
Pragyat Singh, country head of the university, said the deficiency related to non-availability of skilled manpower and also trainers will be fulfilled through this arrangement.
“The academy will address the shortage of skilled manpower,” Jain said.–PTI
