Saahas for Cause hosted its 2nd Annual Gala on November 10th, 2025. It was an evening to remember, an evening filled with inspiring honorees and a showcase of Saahas’s community impact to more than 400 supporters that attended.

Community Impact:
This year’s Gala featured a documentary produced by Reshma Dordi, CEO of ShowBiz India offering a powerful glimpse into the lives Saahas has touched and the change it continues to drive in the community. Over the past year, Saahas for Cause has made a remarkable difference in the lives of thousands, assisted 2,219 older adults, counseled 1,288 women, mentored 78 youth, provided community health services to 3,295 individuals and reached 4,564 individuals through outreach initiatives
Funding the future:
Through the generosity of the evening, Saahas was blessed to have received community support, which will directly support its quad-partite mission of providing vital services in
- Senior Support,
- Family and Women’s Wellness,
- Community Research & Wellness, and
- Youth Empowerment.
As she closed out the event, Saahas’ s Founding Executive Director Ms. Payal Sawhney, set forth her vision wherein:
- Older adults experience a strong sense of community and belonging, ensuring they are never left feeling isolated or neglected.
- Survivors of abuse no longer struggle to find safety, as Saahas actively works toward establishing a secure interim housing facility to provide them with support and stability.
- South Asians of all ages are afforded spaces by Saahas to engage and connect to their roots and grow to contribute to their adopted new homeland of these United States.
- Young South Asians emerge as leaders and change makers, confidently embracing the richness of their dual cultural heritage while shaping a brighter future.
