Expressions Gallery in Ashby Avenue, Berkeley, CA is holding a show of Art & Poetry from January 19 to March 15. The artists opening reception on Saturday, January 19, from 6-8 pm features Salma Arastu’s new Poem-Paintings inspired by the poems of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, a thirteenth century Persian Sufi poet. Her new exhibition is supported by the East Bay Community Foundation through “Fund for Artists”.
