LOS ANGELES: Sapra Ujjwal is the one to be looked out for as this 24 year old director-actor makes his debut in the web series named “The Event Planners”. He is also working on his first Bollywood film to be out in 2012.
From the streets of New Delhi to Los Angeles comes this talent house! Right from his days in India, acting in theatre to his joining UCLA program for acting, he has been passionate about bringing something different to the table.
Being well versed in different languages and cultures he has a global perspective which makes him unique. As an actor he believes that an actor’s job is not only to play the part he has been given but to make character come alive on the screen so that the audience feels that they are living the film and not merely just watching it.
Back in India he has worked with Kapil Dev’s NGO and has done theatre for children in rural India and on national and international circuit. He has also done stage shows having footfall of over 3000 people and beyond, He has worked with big names like Ekta Kapoor in Bollywood. He has been part of the NBC show Outsourced and has directed videos for upcoming MTV artists in London and States.
