MILPITAS, CA: The primary mission of Shirdi Sai Parivaar (SSP) is to spread Shirdi Sai Baba’s philosophy by engaging in charitable and community-based activities. The organization had a humble beginning in January 2002 with less than 30 volunteers and over the years SSP has now grown big with about 500 volunteers and more than 3000 devotees.
The permanent facility of Shirdi Sai Center in Milpitas was established in June 2010. The organization thrives completely on selfless service offered by the volunteers; all activities are managed by volunteers, including operations, maintenance, finance, and charitable services.
SSP’s goal is to expand its current activities to a larger scale and identify other charitable and community based activities that will benefit the local community here in the bay area and potentially in India too.
Devotees can help us by volunteering in charitable activities and community services by offering free language, vocal and instrumental music classes. SSP would also appreciate help from devotees who can help raise funds to reduce the mortgage loan to expand charitable activities and capital projects.
Devotees interested in more information regarding SSP activities, classes or community services that are offered are requested to send an email to saibandhu@shirdisaiparivaar.org or call us on (408)-705-7904 or visit our website www.shirdisaiparivaar.org and follow us on Facebook.
