It has advanced & integrated and complex cancer care by personalizing treatments tailored to a patient’s individual cancer and genetic profile, eliminating one-size-fits-all treatments. It is prototyping virtual reality to visualize what is inside a patient’s body before they undergo surgery.
It is noteworthy that the University of Maryland Medical Center is in its 200th year of saving lives and reimagining medicine.
