These days so many short movies come and go on YouTube recommend list that you may simply miss out on one that is worth watching. “An Imperfect Murder” a short Hindi movie released recently on YouTube is worth the watch time. The ‘creator’ claims it is a suspense story.
The movie begins as a CID Inspector calls on the beautiful widow of the deceased person who is suspected to be ‘murdered”.
The story unfolds as the Inspector questions the lead lady. There are 4 Characters in the movie and all are played very well by first-time performers. The movie is filmed in a beautiful location. The storyline is crisp, and to the point, and runs for 28 minutes. It is an interesting story until the end. The dialogues are well-written and delivered so well. You may find this movie entertaining. Watch it in your free time.
There is another interesting side to recommending this movie. The movie is created by our own AQ Siddiqui, IP Chicago correspondent. So, what is interesting about it? It is a solo creation by AQS. The story, script, photography, sound recording, video editing, subtitles and direction, are all by One Man. Watch it and believe that a full-length movie can be created by a single person. Of course, the lead actors supported him in the making of this interesting movie.
Siddiqui says he is picking all his own short stories published in the early 90s in Urdu and English magazines. AQ Siddiqui has been a well-received short-story writer and his stories published in reputed Urdu magazines such as Shama and BiswinSadi and Youth Times in English. His short story collection, “Sukhe Ped Ka Dard” was awarded by Maharashtra State Urdu Academy in 1982.
