ST LOUIS: Young professionals from India with their American friends celebrated Holi on March 23 at the Haveli restaurant in St. Louis.
They shared food, music and culture with a lot of fun outside the restaurant. The occasion, organized by Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP) of St. Louis, marked the arrival of Spring and encouraged people of all backgrounds to get involved and enjoy the Spring festival.
The celebration at restaurant began with delicious Indian food and light conversation and interaction. People then gathered in backyard of the restaurant and experienced the actual spirit of the festival, tossing color at each other and into the air in a blast of vibrant pink, purple, yellow, cobalt, and red pigments.
All in all, people laughed, snacked and posed for pictures with their families and friends, while wishing each other “Happy Holi.”
NetIP mission is to serve as the voice for the South Asian Diaspora by developing and engaging a cohesive network of professionals to benefit the community.
