CHICAGO: Gandhi Samaj of Chicago will host the celebration of popular Indian festival Navratri September 28 at Maine East High School, Park Ridge, a north side suburb of Chicago
Hitesh Gandhi, president of the Samaj said that there will be a live orchestra with singer Nipa Shah, an award-winning singer of Chicago and another versatile singer Rajesh Chalam who will render Bollywood and Gujarati folk songs
He said that in the course of the celebrations, there will be Garba, Raas and Dandiya dances.
“It’s going to be full four-hour event which surely all the participants- old and young – will enjoy. It’s also in a way paying our respect to Goddess Amba. so I request all to join,” Hitesh said.
