ISELIN, N.J.: Oak Tree Road, one of New Jersey’s most vibrant South Asian shopping and cultural destinations, will come alive with the colors, sounds and spirit of Diwali on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as Renascent Media presents Diwali on Oak Tree Road, a free community celebration taking place from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 1376 Oak Tree Road, Iselin, NJ, in the parking lot of Raj Jewels.
Presented as part of #OakTreeStories, a community initiative by Renascent Media, the celebration will feature a special Ramleela performance by Pandit Satya Narayan Charka and classically trained dancers, live music, Bollywood entertainment, cultural performances, festive experiences and exciting giveaways throughout the day.
Following the enthusiastic response to the recent Bollywood Jamming Road Show on October 10, which attracted large crowds and brought together community leaders, local businesses and families, Diwali on Oak Tree Road will continue the momentum of #OakTreeStories, transforming the heart of New Jersey’s Indian business district into a vibrant destination for cultural celebration, community engagement and festive shopping.
A Spectacular Celebration of Culture and Tradition
One of the major highlights of the event will be a special Ramleela presentation by Pandit Satya Narayan Charka, featuring classically trained dancers, bringing to life the story of Lord Ram and the timeless traditions associated with Diwali. The performance will celebrate the beauty of Indian storytelling, classical dance and cultural heritage, offering audiences of all generations an opportunity to connect with the significance of the Festival of Lights.
The festivities will also feature live musical entertainment, energetic Bollywood performances, cultural presentations and plenty of exciting giveaways throughout the day, creating a joyful atmosphere for families and visitors of all ages.
