Today marks a special milestone for Sikhlens as we begin filming our newest initiative, Roots & Reflections — a heartfelt video series honoring the voices of elders from the Punjabi diaspora. Through intimate conversations, they share memories of migration, food, struggle, and resilience, offering timeless wisdom for future generations.
Our inaugural guest is Amrit Kaur Kapoor, lovingly known as Amrit Auntyji. Her positive spirit, ever-ready smile, and generosity of heart have touched so many lives. She embodies the pride, warmth, and heritage we aim to preserve through this series.
As we launch this journey, we invite our community to nominate other inspiring elders whose stories can enrich and educate generations to come. Together, let’s honor the roots that ground us and the reflections that guide us forward.
