FOG Telugu Organization Bathukamma festive celebrations held on September 28th Sunday at Fremont Hindu temple was a huge auspicious success. This festive celebrations organized and led by FOG Telugu chairperson/Indian American actress Jo Sharma (Jyotsna) with support of FOG founder Dr. Romesh Japra Ji, FOG president Rajesh Verma Ji, FOG Telugu president Abhilash, Vice president Raghu, Vasu, Anu and cultural director Shubhada, co-Director Hemangini, Mayura, Harsha and FoG Telugu director Jyothi along with volunteers Sirisha, Mamatha, Mandar, Nandini, Teja, Keerthi make the event more traditional.

The Bathukamma festival honors Goddess Gauri Ma, which embodies the rich culture and community Spirit of Telangana state.
The festival is centered on women who prepare floral arrangements, sing and dance around goddess.
Women and girls dressed in traditional attire, gathered in temple, placed bathukamma goddess in center done Pooja and rituals conducted by Fremont Hindu temple priest. All women formed a synchronized circle keeping bathukamma goddess in center, dancing for folk songs dedicated to the goddess Gauri Ma. Some devotional kathak performances made by few kids before goddess was eye feasting. This festival gathers family, friends and neighborhood together promoting ethics, beliefs, culture, harmony and social interaction. After rituals with mantras, bathukammas are carried and immersed in water. This act is a farewell to the goddess bathukamma and nod to the ecological cycle.
At the end of event, Chairperson Jo Sharma Ji expressed her gratitude for Dr. Romesh Japra Ji for accepting to conduct bathukamma festival in temple premises, Special Thanks to Rajesh Verma Ji, Govind ji, Pandit Kumaraswami ji temple priest and management for the immense support and appreciated FOG Telugu team Members for their efforts to make event successful.
