FREMONT: Star Entertainment created the Golden Era in Valentine Bash 2013 with more then 500 Bay Area guests of all ages celebrating the Valentine event on February 8. Organized by Peter Sahjani and Dahya Mistry at the Chandni Restaurant, it was one of the most memorable Valentine events of the decade with “pyar kia to darna kya,” the golden era song and dance number from film Mughal-E-Azam enacted by Bay Area talent Elena Elsoukov.
The evening began with a beautiful romantic song by Madhuvanti Bhide, Mandeep Singh, Moonmita Ghosh. There was a guest appearance by Raj Sohal and his duet with Alka Bhatnagar was followed by “Latin Salsa Dance by Starlight Group. There was colorful Bhangra dance by Bhangra Knights, Bollywood dance by Samy Singh, Belly and Bollywood dance by Elena Elsoukov.
The event manager for the show was Shalini Raj Singh, Emcees of the event were Smith Deepak and Deepa Thakor.
The highlight of the event was a fashion show with 15 Bay Area beautiful models conducted by fashion designer Sonali’s Closet. The finale music was provided by Saxophone player Ramesh Meraj.
After dinner Raffle prizes were presented from Bay Area sponsors India Cash & Carry, Chaat Bhavan, PNG Jewelers, Bibi’s Fashion, Chandni Restaurant and Sugandh Imports. Grand sponsor for the evening was Chaat Bhavan, Platinum Sponsors were Roger Bakshi and Neem Wahab of Cal Coast and Intero. Gold Sponsors were Rewa Kumar Ji of Divine Vastu and PNG Jewelers.
The other Sponsors were Indian Chili, Divine Intuitions. Media partners were GRMD “Gata Rahe Mera Dil, Women Now TV, India Post, Chalte Chalte Radio and Azmi Gil of Urdu Newspaper.
