If you are anything like me, you start craving all things Indian periodically. We all miss the mouthwatering cuisine, the exquisite handicrafts, the exclusive clothes, exotic destinations to explore. And not to forget our national passion that is more like a religion; yes I am talking about cricket! Now, let me tell you that you don’t have to get on a plane, fly 21 hours, to experience the magic of India all over again.
IndiaNow 2013 is a grand Trade Fair event bringing India to your doorstep right here in Silicon Valley for 2 days on June 22-23rd at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose. Our mission is to bring India and the US together to explore our infinite trade and tourism opportunities!
There will be vendors showcasing India’s rich tradition, history, cultural variety, exotic tourism, varied cuisines, art, handicrafts, real estate, business opportunities and much more. We are super-excited and honored to have Kapil Dev as our Brand Ambassador who will be gracing our opening ceremony on 21st June at San Jose Airport Garden Hotel.
Kapil Dev will also be at the Trade Fair event both days captaining a Cricket quiz among other programs! There will be many artists from India displaying their talents and crafts during the event. There are also going to be workshops just in case you are artistically inclined and want to take home a unique craft created by you under the guidance of an expert artist.
The aim of this trade fair is to establish a network within the Northern California region to facilitate a strong trade and commerce relationship between India and America. Since there will be a very diversified group of vendors from both India and US together on one platform, the event is generating considerable amount of interest among Bay Area residents.
Now being true Indians, we all enjoy when we get much more bang for the buck!
