AHMEDNAGAR: Anna Hazare is a permanent source of inspiration for the Aam Aadmi Party and its leaders, including party chief Arvind Kejriwal, are grateful to him for awakening the country on the issue of corruption, AAP leader Kumar Vishwas said here today.
He said the AAP wanted Jan Lokpal Bill to be passed in Parliament immediately considering Hazare’s health condition due to fasting.
“Anna is a permanent source of inspiration for AAP. The nation and its youths are awakened by Anna. All AAP volunteers, including Arvind Kejriwal, gratefully remember Anna’s contribution in awakening Delhi and India. We will try our level best to make India corruption-free and bring true democracy,” he told PTI.
Hazare’s indefinite hunger strike pressing for the passage of Jan Lokpal Bill in Parliament entered third day today.
Vishwas, Gopal Rai and four other members of the party, visited the septuagenarian here after Kejriwal, who was supposed to go to Ralegan Siddhi, dropped the plan due to his ill health.
Vishwas and others reached Ralegan Siddhi in afternoon and rushed to the Yadav Baba temple here, where Hazare is sitting on fast.–PTI
