WALTHAM MI: INE MultiMedia Inc, a non-profit company devoted to education, empowerment, enrichment and entertainment, received a $30,000 grant from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation, which supports Harvard Pilgrim’s mission to improve the quality and value of healthcare for the people and communities it serves.
“It is such an honor for INE MultiMedia to receive this grant from Harvard Pilgrim,” said Dr Manju Sheth, MD, president of INE MultiMedia. “The mission of our non-profit company rests on four pillars: education, enrichment, empowerment and entertainment, and this grant will enable us to fulfill our mission by producing quality programs and events which will help our community at large.” In addition to the grant, Harvard Pilgrim will provide other support to INE MultiMedia, added Dr Sheth.
Karen Voci, president of the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation said that INE MultiMedia’s programs and services make a tremendous contribution to the South Asian community and help create positive impacts.
Created in 1980, the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation is a not-for-profit health plan that provides a variety of insurance plan options and self-funding arrangements to more than one million members in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. It has distributed more than $133 million in funds. In 2014, it awarded nearly $2.9 million in grants to 710 nonprofit organizations within the four states.

INE MultiMedia is focused on South Asian community in the United States as well as in the South Asian sub-continent, was founded by community leader Dr Sheth and Mishra, publisher of India New England News and IndUS Business Journal. In addition to working with non-profit organizations, INE MultiMedia promotes art, culture, education and empowerment through interviews, workshops, seminars and multimedia presentations and documentaries.
