Not only did they serve a great cause, but all those gathered also had good fun along the way

The event started right on time at 6.30 p.m. The event’s emcee Jasmine Huda of Fox News gave a short overview on all of the six projects supported by the St. Louis chapter be it working with street children in Varanasi or kids with special needs in Chennai.

Spazio Restaurant provided delicious food. Dancing to the tunes of Neeta Shahapeti and Manoj Khatod and then to the beats of DJ Rishabh enlivened the atmosphere

“We had close to 160 attendees, made $25,000, and gained even more volunteers. This is a good thing because our goal is to raise awareness and gain long term donors,” said Nisha Rajagopal, the St. Louis Chapter Coordinator,

“The money came from sponsorships, donations, ticket sales as well as the silent auction and 100 per cent of our proceeds will go to Asha for Education,” said Tejal Patel, one of the main event organizers.
