National Committee Holds Interactive Meeting with California Congressional Candidate
CALIFORNIA: Americans4Hindus (A4H) announced that its National Committee has endorsed Jenny Rae Le Roux, the Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from California’s 47th Congressional District.
The decision followed a Zoom meeting between Le Roux and the 74-member A4H National Committee. During the interactive session, committee members discussed issues of importance to Hindu Americans, civic participation, religious freedom, community representation, and the role of elected representatives in ensuring that diverse communities have a meaningful voice in Washington.
Following the discussion and deliberations, the A4H National Committee decided to proceed with its endorsement of Le Roux and to support her candidacy through funding and campaign activities consistent with applicable election laws.
A4H stated that, based on the discussion, its National Committee believes Le Roux shares many of the values and priorities important to Hindu Americans and expressed confidence that she would listen to and represent the community’s concerns in the U.S. Congress.
Americans4Hindus describes its mission as empowering Hindu and pro-Hindu Americans through greater civic participation, public service, voter engagement, and representation at every level of government.
