FREMONT: On the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, Americans4Hindus (A4H) joins Americans across the nation in solemn remembrance of the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost in the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and in honoring the first responders, public servants, military personnel, and countless Americans who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the aftermath.
Twenty-five years later, the memory of September 11 remains deeply embedded in the American experience. It is a reminder of both the devastating consequences of terrorism and the extraordinary resilience, unity, and compassion that emerged in its wake.
Americans4Hindus remembers the victims and stands with their families, survivors, first responders, and all those whose lives were forever changed.
STATEMENT FROM DR. ROMESH JAPRA
Founder & Chairman, Americans4Hindus
“Twenty-five years after September 11, we must never allow the passage of time to diminish the memory of those we lost or the courage of those who stood in harm’s way. 9/11 reminded us that terrorism does not discriminate and that the defense of freedom, human dignity, and religious liberty must unite us beyond every faith, ethnicity, and background. As Hindu Americans, we draw strength from the timeless principles of Satya, Shanti, Ahimsa, and Seva, and from the belief that the world is one family, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
America is strongest when its people stand together against hatred, extremism, and violence while protecting every citizen’s right to live, worship, serve, and participate freely. On this solemn anniversary, we remember the innocent, honor the heroes, support the families and survivors, and reaffirm our commitment to a safer, stronger, and more united America. May we never forget, and may we never allow hatred to divide the American family.”
- WE REMEMBER
The innocent lives taken and the families who continue to carry their memories. - WE HONOR
The first responders, rescuers, firefighters, law enforcement officers, military personnel, medical professionals, and every individual who served with courage and sacrifice. - WE STAND
With the families of the victims, survivors, first responders, and with the American people. - WE REAFFIRM
The timeless values of Satya, Shanti, Ahimsa, and Seva, together with the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the world is one family.WE PLEDGE
To stand against terrorism and hatred while protecting freedom, democracy, human dignity, and religious liberty for all.
For Hindu Americans and all communities that call America home, these values reinforce a fundamental belief: a strong America is one where every citizen can live, worship, serve, and participate freely and without fear.
As we commemorate this solemn milestone, Americans4Hindus calls upon the community to remember not only the tragedy of September 11, but also the courage, compassion, service, and unity that followed.
Twenty-five years later, we remember as one American family.
NEVER FORGET. NEVER AGAIN.
God Bless America
