APNA USA endorses 40 candidates

CHICAGO: A recently set up platform for Asian Americans in Chicagoland, Asian Political Network of America (APNA), has endorsed about 40 candidates for THE 2019 municipal elections in Chicagoland area.
Among candidates endorsed are Poonam Gupta, Nazneen Hashmi, Janet Yang Rohr, Maureen Dunne, Lynn Casey-Maher, Anisha Ismail Patel, Nina Palit, Maureen, Dunne Tina Tyson-Dunne, Nakia Hall, Jamie Olson, Terry Ransom, Sara Sadat, Nancy Turner, Barbara O’Meara, Leslie Sadowski-Fugitt, Savannah Smith, Dorothy Andrews, Deneen Lenoir, Jennifer Job Gavin, Michelle M. Stiff, Raabia Khan, Bushra Amiwala, Nashra Mohammed, Natasha Sethi Grover, Nagla Fetouh, Eva Porter, Urszula Tanouye, Sandra Carlson, Charlotte Droogan, Debrah Savage, Claire Goldenberg, Sheetal Khedkar Rao, Sarah Jakobsen, and Rae Othman.

APNA USA has also endorsed Gopal Lalmalani, Mohammed Faheem, Gautam “GB” Bhatia, Parth Patel, Nafees Rahman, Dhitu Bhagwakar, Rico Terranova, Steve Chirico, Steve Leopoldo, Ajaz Gill, Rezwanul Haque, Saud Gazanafer, Asif Yusuf, Marc Ragusa, Sri Rao, Jeff Jacobson, Adam Hopkins, Greg Schwarze, Azam Nizamuddin, Herb Porter, Kevin Patrick, Andrew Honig, Dave Barry, Syed Abedi, Asad Khan, Jason Can, Otis Gatlin, Ryan Harter, Zubair Khan, Robert General, Vaseem Iftikhar, Dan Bailey and Jim Milaniphy.
The goal of APNA is to develop Asian Americans into a critical mass and turn this group into a political bloc and powerhouse. The effort is to see that Asian votes should not be divided based on nationality, ethnicity, race, faith, or language.
“We must work together as a political networking platform,” said APNA President Moon Khan.
